About MaleToyLab

MaleToyLab is run by a small team of adult men who were frustrated by the state of male sex toy reviews online. Most review sites were either stuffed with Amazon links and no real opinion, or aimed entirely at women and couples — ignoring the solo male user.

We built MaleToyLab to answer a simpler question: which toy suits which person. We don't run our own product tests or lab measurements. Our picks and verdicts are based on each brand's published specs, the price on the official store, and — where a brand publishes one — its store rating and review count, always labelled with its source.

We publish under the MaleToyLab Team name to protect personal privacy, as is standard in this category. Our rankings are not paid for, sponsored, or influenced by brands.

Every product on MaleToyLab is judged on the same public information before we publish a verdict:

• Published specs — motor type, app support, battery life, waterproof rating, materials, and sizes, taken from the brand's official product page.
• Official-store prices — prices come from the brand's own store. Our deal and coupon pages read a price check we run daily, and say so when a price wasn't captured.
• Brand-published ratings — where the brand's store publishes a star rating and review count (currently Lovense.com), we show it with its source. Where no public rating exists, we say "No published rating" rather than invent one.
• Our editorial scores — our 1–5 scores for sensation, build, value, and app are our own judgment from published features and price, not lab measurements.
• Noise tier — noise isn't scored on that scale. We only sort toys into "no motor" and "motorized" by motor type (see below); it isn't measured.
• Who it suits — every verdict says who a toy is for and who should skip it.

Noise is the most-asked-about topic in male sex toy reviews. Brands rarely publish decibel figures for male toys, and we don't measure noise ourselves — so we sort toys into two noise tiers, an editorial estimate based on the type of motor a toy has (not measured):

MaleToyLab earns a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. Our affiliate links go to brands' official stores: Lovense, Fleshlight and We-Vibe, plus the TENGA store through the Awin affiliate network.

Affiliate commissions do not influence our rankings. Products are ranked on the editorial criteria above — published features, price, and who each toy suits. We have never accepted payment, free products in exchange for coverage, or sponsored placement from any brand.

If a product is bad, we say so. If a product doesn't make our list, it's because it didn't earn it.
